NTRODUCTION
The research is based on narrativistic paradigm in which the identity is generated by discourses produced by different voices (dialogical identity). The aim of this research is to evaluate the efficacy of interventions addressed to people with "eating disorders" diagnosis, through the descriptions of how change Knowledge modalities used by service consumers, operators and common people to describe these kind of services users (in retrospective, current and anticipatory terms).
METHODO
The sample is composed by 120 people including 34 services users 36 service operators 50 members of the common people The analysis tool is an ad hoc questionnaire composed by four questions.
RESULTS/DISCUSSION
The research shows how the Knowledge modalities used by speakers to describe service users in the various phases of his path does not change, but remain the same for all three categories of respondents.
According to the narrativistic paradigm assumptions the aim of the intervention is the change of Discursive processes and efficacy is certified by a change/impact regarding processes in action.
Therefore interventions described in this research are not efficacious because discursive processes remain the same during all phases of treatment and contribute to maintain the same biographical career.
